〜次第
N2as soon as (X happens, I will / please do Y)
Formation: V-ます stem + 次第; する-noun + 次第 (到着次第, 決定次第)
Means that Y will be done right after X happens. It is formal and very common in business emails, announcements and customer service. The main clause expresses an intention, a plan or a request about the future, so it is not used to narrate a past one-off event (you cannot say 家に着き次第、電話した). Compare 〜たとたん, which describes a past moment followed by something unexpected, and 〜や否や or 〜なり, which describe past events in narrative. Do not confuse it with 〜次第だ/次第で (depends on) or 〜次第です (that is why).
