〜たびに
N2every time, whenever (X happens, Y always happens)
Formation: V-dictionary + たびに; N + の + たびに
〜たびに means that every time X happens, Y happens too. X must be an event that repeats. Y can be a habit, a feeling, or a change that builds up with each repetition. The tone is neutral, and it is used in both speech and writing. Unlike 〜ごとに, it cannot attach to units of time or number: you say 三日ごとに, never 三日のたびに. 〜につけ also means 'whenever', but it mostly appears with verbs of perceiving followed by a feeling (見るにつけ、聞くにつけ) and in set phrases like 何かにつけ.
Variants: 〜たび、〜たびごとに
