〜とあれば
N1if it is (for) X, then (naturally / I'd even)
Formation: N + とあれば; plain form (な-adj and N usually without だ) + とあれば
A hypothetical condition: if the situation is X, then something will naturally follow, often a willingness to do something hard or unusual. Typical phrases are 〜のためとあれば ("if it's for the sake of X") and 必要とあれば ("if necessary"). It is formal and somewhat literary, and 〜とあらば is a more old-fashioned version. The main clause often shows the speaker's resolve or acceptance, e.g. どんなことでもする. Don't confuse it with 〜とあって, which states an actual circumstance as the reason for an observed result. 〜とあれば is a supposition ("if it is so").
Variants: 〜とあらば
