〜わけがない
N2there is no way that, it can't possibly be
Formation: V / い-adj plain + わけがない; な-adj + な/である + わけがない; N + の/である + わけがない
States the speaker's strong conviction that something is impossible or out of the question, often with emotion such as disbelief or indignation. It is used mostly in speech; わけない is the casual form, and わけはない and わけがありません also occur. Compare 〜はずがない, which is almost the same but sounds more like a conclusion drawn from facts, while わけがない sounds more emotional. Do not confuse it with 〜わけではない, which only corrects an assumption ('it's not that...'). Also note that わけない on its own can mean 'easy'.
Variants: 〜わけはない、〜わけない、〜わけがありません
