〜を込めて

N2

with (a feeling, wish or effort) put into it

Formation: N + を込めて; N + を込めた + N (also written をこめて)

Says that a feeling, wish, prayer or effort is put into an action or object, such as a letter, a gift, a song or a speech. The noun is usually an emotion or intention like 感謝, 愛, 心, 願い, 祈り, 思い or 皮肉. The noun can also be physical strength, as in 力を込めて, meaning with force. It is common in letters, speeches, greeting cards and news reports about ceremonies, and has a warm, sincere tone unless the noun itself is negative (怒り, 皮肉). Don't confuse it with 〜をもって, which marks a formal means or a deadline: 〜を込めて is about what you put into something, not the tool you use.

Variants: 〜を込めた + N、〜をこめて
